GYMNASTICS
2011 - 2012 SCHEDULE

Fundamental Basics – Coed   Ages 3 ½ - 5 yrs

Class is designed with developmentally appropriate gymnastics and locomotor skills that encourage and challenge young children to expand their physical abilities including agility, hand eye and foot coordination, strength, speed, and flexibility.
Wednesday: 6:00 – 6:45

Friday: 9:00 – 9:45


S.P.O.R.T. Gym 1 – Coed   Ages 4/12 – 5 yrs
A fitness/movement/gymnastics/sports class for the young athlete that includes learning rolls, handstands, and cartwheels, tumbling on a tumble track, and basic skills on the balance beam and bars.

Monday: 4:00 – 5:00
Wednesday: 4:00 – 5:00
Saturday: 8:30 - 9:30


S.P.O.R.T. Gym 2 – Coed  Ages 6 – 10 yrs
A beginning class that emphasizes fitness while learning basic gymnastics and sport skills.  A core training class.
MMonday: 4:00 – 5:00
Wednesday: 4:00 – 5:00
Saturday: 8:30 - 9:30

S.P.O.R.T. Gym 2 –Intermediate Boys   Ages 6 – 10 yrs
A beginning class that emphasizes fitness while learning basic gymnastics and sport skills.  A core training class.

Monday: 5:00 – 6:00
Wednesday: 5:00 – 6:00


S.P.O.R.T. Gym 1 Intermediate  - Coed   Ages 5 – 7 yrs. Prerequisite:  Handstands and Cartwheels.
Monday: 5:00 – 6:00
Wednesday: 5:00 – 6:00


S.P.O.R.T. Gym Int.
Prerequisite:  Handstands and Cartwheels.
Monday: 5:00 – 6:00
Wednesday: 5:00 – 6:00

Cross Training – Coed        Ages 12 - 18
This class is designed for the beginning to advanced athlete who wants to learn more about gymnastics for fun or wants to use it to increase their strength, agility, flexibility and coordination to cross train for another sport. Pole vaulting, diving, cheerleading and skiing are a few of the sports that benefit from this type of cross training.
Monday: 6:30 – 7:30
